New John Boyd Paintings full of space and atmosphere

It’s great to be displaying new paintings by John Boyd in the gallery, particularly as the weather warms up for Spring. John’s paintings of beaches have a great sense of space about them especially as the people on the beaches appear tiny. Surfers, people fishing and walking their dogs are clearly enjoying the beauty of their surroundings; this gives the paintings warmth and optimism. Nonetheless, it is the landscapes that are somehow more permanent: the seas will continue to welcome generations of people to their shores for generations to come.
